Hi, I'm John. I know many of you from that other place but for those that don't know me I'll toss out some personal info. I'm 52 years old and am enjoying fatherhood better late than never. I have a beautiful just 3 year old daughter that amazes me and gives me so much joy I can hardly believe what I am experiencing/feeling. I'm a former pro woodworker having been trained in 18th century furnituremaking here in Pa. at Irion Company Furnituremakers. I worked on my own for a bit, worked for Woodcraft for a bit and am know mired in the hell of retail unfinished furniture (but at least I have a job.) Right now I am able to enjoy cooking and military history (WWII) but unfortunately due to our childcare schedule I get too little time in my shop.

I'm really looking forward to this new site. Excellent work TJ.
