My fourth time to go to the Farmers and Crafts Market and finally had a really good day. People are finally ready to actually make the purchase. From the few other vendors I talked to it was a good day for everyone. I guess it finally paid off and I'm glad we kept going to the market hoping for a good day. I'm going again on Wednesday to see if there are any last minute shoppers needing a unique gift

Way to go Doug! Glad you made out well, I really like the snowmen you have made - can't believe people haven't scooped all of those up.
What seemed to be the big sellers?

Thanks for the comments everyone! Cody and Joe - I could not really determine a pattern for the sales...3 slims, 2 pine cone bottle stoppers, 2 cartridge pens - one pine cone and the other was rattle snake skin, 1 Gatsby and 1 Buffalo pencil. I really thought I would sell more of the pine cone stoppers. A pretty good day for the short time the Farmers market is open (9:00 am - 1:30 pm) I think I only sold 2 to 3 things the other times I have been to the market. I was really happy to sell anther rattle snake skin cartridge pen - so I made another one today Boodrow - I'm glad to hear that you are having some good sales too! It seems like the economy has been holding everyone back for quite a while now...hopefully that is changing. Zac, I am surprised about the snowmen and reindeer too. I sold a bunch of them last year. I think folks must be looking for more practical items this year.
