I think it looks great and that curly maple is almost too nice for a shop cab. Very nice workmanship, too.

Very nice work!

That's really pretty. I have a used dresser that I refinished 28 years ago that has that nice same grain in it. Larry

Very nice work, Scott. I have to agree with some of the other guys though, I would be afraid to use that in my shop. It's too pretty to risk scratching it.

As everybody said "too pretty" for the shop. What are you trying to do to the rest of us?

As everybody said "too pretty" for the shop. What are you trying to do to the rest of us? Yeah, he's making us look like schlubs. Meanwhile, he's making Norm Abrams cry in his plaid shirt with work like that. ;D

Thanks for all the comments! This project did start with a doodle on a scrap of paper and it does have several mistakes that could've been avoided with a better plan...but what's the fun in that?! This cabinet will be used every day until I no longer do woodworking so I feel that the effort and materials used are justified. Oh by the way....Norm ain't cryin' and you guys ain't schlubs. Thanks, Scott

Big speaker on the bottom? That's my kind of tool chest.

I really like this project. One day I may be there to make something like that. Great work

You've set the bar a mite high for the rest of us Scott. Can't wait to see the doors that will undoubtedly be worthy to cover those drawers.
