Got this idea from one of my Aussie friends going to sell these at a craft show this summer as long as my health will let me. I made 12 so far going to make some more and paint all of them with different colors. I used all my scrap pine to make these so it was like a production line.

Nice use of scraps there Glenmore. I like.
Smaller holes would make nice little salt & pepper holders, too.

Thanks I did see other styles where the salt and pepper were with the mustard and ketchup. I was thinking of maybe manyas also but don't want to make them to big or over crowed them.

Looks pretty good... ;D What are those grooves in the top for, in the middle and sides of holes?? A very clever way to use up scraps!!

Joe, I'm thinking the grooves are to make the appearance of slats for the table top.
Yes, very clever way to use up scraps. Practical and certainly marketable as well at the craft shows. Nice job.

Very clever Glenmore! I missed this yesterday.
I like the way they stack up...I could see these used in a restaurant setting.
So, where are the painted ones?!?!

Sorry Doug didn't get the pic of the painted ones yet. Making some out of red ceder going to use a clear coat on these. Been busy turning pens right now didn't even get my cutting boards sanded yet. Get board with one project so I go back and forth.
