The wood is Red Cedar, the finish is rattlecan clearcoat, which works quite a lot better than I'd expected. Attachments:

I've had good luck with Krylon products - I'm not a huge fan of spray on clear coats - but as far as they go - Krylons is good. Za

It took me one full can to get the hang of it, and to learn that 12 thin coats trump three thick ones.

I remember when I realized that..... the best spray painting and clear coating is done with multiple, but very LIGHT coats......mist it on - don't paint it with aerosol....that is what a brush is for!
