15 1/2" Red Cedar bowl.... this one was really a pain to do. The tenon broke off 4 times, and the rest of the time I had to turn so carefully so it would stay on the chuck. I wont be trying anything like this for awhile!

Very nice, very BIG Eastern Red Cedar bowl, Marc. I think you got the WT just right for the bowl diameter, too. It all looks to be in correct proportion.
FWIW, I've had some limited success with fragile tenons by soaking the tenon in thin CA prior to chucking the blank.

Man that thing is pretty, I am a fan of erc though. at 15 1/2 inches I bet you did have a hard time keeping it together. Looks good.
