Does anyone have this www.acehardware.com/product/index...nIbs4ygfC4fQOhgopinions? Thinking about getting one for my go to every day gun. I have a couple of 18v Dewalts, but sometimes those are just overkill. Ace has these on Black Friday for $79.99. Thanks in advance

Sorry Ray, your like my brother and all, but there's no way in hell that I'm battling Black Friday crowds for your Christmas present! Looks to be a sweet deal. You've been wanting a smaller gun for some time. You'd be getting a gun that weighs less than the damn batteries on the DeWalts and you'd be getting it for almost 50% off. As you would tell me, shut the heck up and buy it! Besides, if you don't like it then you can give it to me! ;D Let me know if you decide to venture out and are one of the lucky 3 that get it for that price.

With any driver, I suggest people TRY it first.
Many models are a bear to get much finesse out of. My Panasonic 12v (nicad) model is really easy to feather the trigger on and get all sorts of control from. My friend's Panasonic 12v (l-ion) is exactly the opposite - it's jumpy as hell and feathering the trigger is not an option.
TRY it first - see if'n ya like it.

I have the Bosch version of this and it's very nice. I have one big driver, one 12v panasonic, and this little one I usually keep in the house. I love the weight and the design. They look similar but as beamer said, pick it up and handle it and make sure you can return it.

I got the set at HD for $159, turns out the CEO was holding out a $100 gift card so I guess I got the set for $59 ;D. I didn't use the impact yet, but I was pretty impressed with the driver. Nothing big, just some pegboard, plywood & cedar I had laying around that I made use of. Sure beat the heck out of grabbing the 18v Dewalt, for such a small task. Heck it even fit in my apron pocket. Thanks for the input everyone.

"I didn't use the impact yet, but I was pretty impressed with the driver"
The ad doesn't mention "impact" driver. That's even better.

Dave, I wound up at HD because of a gift card, so I bought the 2 piece kit.
