What is the difference in the Beall buffing system and the one that Penn State Ind. sells? The Beall system from Lee Valley is like $89 and the one from Penn State is $60. The Penn State one is temporarily out of stock.

I have the PSI one - it doesn't run true, and keeps leaving black filings in my Morse Taper...the wheels aren't great, and the compounds don't work as well as I'd like... It now sits on a shelf in my shop and I try it about once a year to see if anything's changed! So in short, if I had to do it again, I'd get the original...

Did you get the bowl buffs too Fred? I got them with mine but have not tried them out yet.

Thanks Fred. I am anxious to try out the bowl buffs but I don't know when I'll get around to turning another bowl.
