How much time in one of these for you, Cody? I really like to build/use contrasting woods in projects too. Great job!

I spent about 3 hours one evening milling the pieces and gluing up the box. The next day, I spent maybe another 2 hours sawing off the lid, installing the hinges and the feet. Finishing was maybe another hour total, so...6 hours in the box. Since all the boxes I make will essentially be one-offs, I don't expect to decrease that time much, either.

Cody, It's beautiful. How do you get things done so quickly? I'm still finishing Dad's box! I ruined my brother Hunt's, cried myself to sleep, an adopted a new puppy the next day! The breeder happened to call me at a weak moment.

How do you get things done so quickly? My wife says I'm single-minded. I can focus on just one thing to the exclusion of everything else. That's also why my shop does not have any windows. Thanks for the comments and congratulations on the new puppy.
