The block plane is very common. It's got an adjustable throat, and it's a GOOD block plane... it sells for something like $20 or $30 on the common market.

The other plane (looks like about a #3) would probably sell for about $30 to $40 here - more in different parts of the country, less in others. I've got one nearly identical to it, but mine has the plastic tote & knob. Mine's VERY comfortable to use.

The spokeshave sells new today at Rockler for about $27.

If they were at a flea market . . . I'd have the lot for $20 ;D

Seriously though, Tim's in the ballpark . . . though I usually see the Craftsman planes a little cheaper than their Stanley brethren, if that is indeed the size of a Stanley #3 (8" long), and all the wood is in good shape he's right there too . . . unless it has a corrugated sole . . . add another $10-20 or so for that!

The best of that lot is the Stanley block plane. They go for about $40 new or $5 used; properly sharpened and flattened they are as good as any Stanley made. The lateral adjuster is a big plus on any block plane and that one has the most robust version ever made by Stanley.

No comment on the Kunz shave, or the Craftsman (Stanley handyman) smoother.

Well, I missed them, as someone beat me to them on a trapping forum that I am on. They were asking $35 for the lot of 3. He said he'd let me know if the other guy backed out on them.
