PSI dyed maple stopper

This is a stopper I turned this weekend , I ordered the blank from PSI. Its green dyed spalted maple. It had a big knot in the top of it I had to cut away , I called them and they are sendin me another one, this was kinda a test piece. Its also stabilized , I know it was very hard , the toolin told me this. Anyway , dont know if I will order anymore of um. Depends on if people like um and willin to pay cash for um. I also finished another cone pull , but the pics looked awful , dont know if its me or my camera. Will try again tomorrow.

Well this is a real nice lookin' stopper - glad they sent you a new one for the big ol' knot in it - I know they are plenty pricey.

Really though - the simple shape is very pleasing.

I'm not crazy about the color, Boo, but I really like the form. I guess I just like simple shapes but it looks very practical and elegant at the same time.

Thanks yall , the reason I went with green is it matches lots o wine bottles , in no way does it match a nat lite can. ;D Anyway this was spose to be dyed and stabalized. Im not sure how they stabilize , but it was like turning concrete.
I also think I got a snoot full of the turnings when I was usin the skew , my sinus has been rampant today. Once again thanks fror the input.

Not to pile on Boodrow, but I hate the color, but love the shape. Simple and functional. Probably not what you wanted from an expensive stabilized blank, but it will appeal to someone, no doubt!

I ask the lady at work today what she thought of the color and she said she loved the color??? Go figure , if the ladies like it , it will sell , I hope anyway
Generally what she likes is a good seller for me.

I am with the others, not big on the color, but do like the shape. if you girl at work likes it, i am sure it will sell

Honestly its kinda scarey how what she looks at and tells me if it will sell or not. She dont pull any punches either. If its ugly she tells me it is.
