So I just got my miter saw today - a lady picked it up for me at a good price....but that ain't the gload. I was looking for some type of miter stand to put the saw on, and came across the Jaw Horse from Rockwell - I had seen the Triton version from Woodcraft, and of course all the Jaw Horse infomercials late at night / early morning from Rockwell..... I thought it looked like a pretty neat thing....just didn't really have the need for it. So after I realized I would be getting a miter saw - I thought it'd be pretty nice to get the Jaw Horse because I could make a miter table for it - and then it would be much more useful than just a miter stand.... know what I mean? Ok...the price - Amazon has them w/ free shipping of course for $179.99...... A friend from work calls me two weeks ago and tells me they have a Jaw Horse at a builders auction and asked if I'd like her to bid on it.... I said sure... go ahead, it was like new - in fact - basically other than a few scuffs it was new. Instructions and DVD included. Ready for the final price??? $95.00 - sweet huh? Pictures? You got it!! I saved enough on this baby to treat myself to the Forrest Chopmaster! Zac

Cody - it can exert a ton (literally and figuratively) of pressure.... I clamped a 5" or so wide board between the jaws - stepped down and gave it a good squeeze - I took a hammer and beat the hell out of the center of the board (between the jaws) and at the end hanging past the jaws..... the board wouldn't move at all. Awesomeness.

Nice deal!
They make a longer "jaw" for holding sheet goods that's definitely worth it.
