Medicine Cabinet ?

Hello everyone, someone wants me to build them a medicine cabinet for there bathroom. They have a framed mirror that came with the sink vanity they bought awhile back. I was hoping to be able to use the framed mirror as the front to the cabinet but it is really heavy, maybe twenty pounds. Will this be to heavy to hinge and use as the door.

Short answer is no, it's not too heavy. A lot depends on what kind of hinges you intend to use. Most hinges should come with information as to how much weight they are rated to hold. So its just a matter of either choosing a heavy enough duty hinge or using more hinges to help support the weight.
