I tried this out yesterday on a 4 sided hip roof for a birdhouse. It turned out perfectly on the very first effort. I used the TS and miter guage. The roof was 10.5" at the base and 45* slope. I set the miter guage to the radial arm value and tilted the blade to 30*
Now I'm ready to take on a 6 or 8 sided birdhouse.
I just love it when a plan finally comes together!
