I have a question for anyone that can answer it I sure would appreciate the info. Im building a small box for my sister. I need to glue the bottom in it if I can to the main body of the box. The box is stained with wipe on poly as a finish. Thanks Boodrow

If you stick epoxy to the surface of the poly... then the weakest link will be between the poly & the wood, and you might as well use a far weaker glue 'cause the epoxy is huge overkill. If you scrape the surfaces so the epoxy can bond directly to the wood... then you've got an epoxy-to-wood bond, and the weakest link will be the wood.
