Sterling Silver Baron Rollerball. Used Birdseye Maple with a band of Gaboon Ebony to match the pens black accents. Finished with 6 coats of Clear Gloss Minwax Polyurethane. As always comments and or suggestions appreciated. Thanks for looking. Les   |

I like Birdseye when you capture the eye, it is kinda cruel sometimes as you can turn the eyes away.I bought a very expensive 2 x 6 one time to make some bookends and when I ran it threw the planer it got nearly all of the eyes on the 1st pass.

I like it except I would like it even more if both ends of the pen and cap had matching ebony pieces. Seems Like it is missing something.
