I disagree Cody. I believe all gold would have looked better. Silver (chrome, whatever) and gold just clash when presented together. JMHO.

Nice made pen Les, as usual. I really like the lines you turned on that Cigar pen. I used to give the lower barrel a contour, but I now I prefer the straight B2B line like you did.

Great looking pen, Les. I have a gold and silver watch made by Armitron that is as durable as it is beautiful. The 2 colors do not clash,IMHO. And if you look in jewelry catalogs you will see that the designers agree. Keep up the good work.

I'm guilty as are several more I believe for not offering critical opinions of work shown here (although I've never seen any of Les' work that I could criticize) Anyway, the point is that honest constructive criticism and varying opinions are healthy for the forum. I applaud your honesty.

Great looking! DougB had mentioned something about using a straighter 'line' from the centerband to the nib.... Seeing this example of it, I now understand what he was trying to say! Excellent tutorial, even though you had no idea I was getting one!!!
The wood compliments the two tone 'hardware' on the kit. It would probably be funny looking on a piece of purpleheart wood...
