The stoppers are all fantastic Boodrow! I love the shape of that BWE on the far left - that is very classy looking. And the Pine cone shape is very nice too. The third stopper is very striking too! Man, I really like all of them. Now, the light pull...um, well, that one is not doing a whole lot for me. I usually really like Zebrawood too, but...I dunno about that one...you better check with your ladies at work to see what they say about that one... I almost forgot...what is the change in your Pine Cone finish? It looks great!

Boodrow - I like the BWE stopper, the shape is neat.
I also like the fan pull a lot - more like what you'd normally get with a fan but much nicer looking.

Thanks for the kind words yall Mav I get the pull kits from craft supply usa Doug the fan pull is what I call the bull nad design , I sell a lot thats made like that , I talked to another woodturn at our meetin this past sat. Showed him a couple of the pine stoppers ive made. He showed me some very nice finished pens that were finished with ca. I ask him how could I get the ca a lil smoother on the cones , he said to start with there is nothin wrong with the present finish. I told him if u look close there are small swirl marks , He said he wet sands with micro mesh , I tried that on this one and it really made a smooth finish on it. Boodrow

I like 'em Boodrow. BUT (with all due respect, and IMO) I think the pine cone stopper would look better if the bloodwood rings(?) were something darker....maybe something dipped in Cody's "ebonizing compound". But whatta hell do I know?

That's a good group, Boo. I really like the shape of the B&W Ebony stopper.
Since Dave mentioned it, I have to say that I agree about the Bloodwood rings on the Pine Cone stoppers. I think Ebony would look great there instead of the Bloodwood.

Doug the fan pull is what I call the bull nad design , I sell a lot thats made like that , I like the name of the design... ;D I told him if u look close there are small swirl marks , He said he wet sands with micro mesh , I tried that on this one and it really made a smooth finish on it. Oh. I do that sometimes too, but usually the CA/BLO combination comes out with very small swirls for me, which most times comes out with the first (1500) MM pad. Sometimes I just add another very quick, very light coat of Med CA to get rid of the swirls. Wet sanding with MM is a last resort for me because it clogs up the MM and then I have to clean them, but it does work really well.
