That was generously sent to me by Cody along with several other pen blanks. Thanks Cody! I hope I did it justice. I Wrapped it around a Titanium Gold 8mm Euro Premium Double Twist. Finished with 6 coats of MINWAX Clear Satin Polyurethane and polished with Brazilian Caranuba. As always comments and or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks for looking. Les

Les,
Just curious - on some pens you post the finish as poly - and for this one for instance you mention poly finished with carnuba wax. What makes the difference when you are deciding when you are stopping with the finish with the poly, or going further to something like carnuba?

looks awesome as usuall. I cut up some hackberry this weekend. I am hoping it is this nice on the inside. sure is purty for such an ugly tree.
