Using up the remaining left-overs from my workbench, I also built a new outfeed / assembly table: The old one had a torsion box frame that sat on top of a couple saw-horses, but it could be rickety and the horse legs took up a lot of otherwise usable space: I re-used the top - The neat thing about the new base is the way I captured it between the upright tops of the legs: This way it slides easily back and forth for removing the blade guard, but doesn't move side to side at all: Plus I now have a nice wide shelf to pile off-cuts and other junk on: Outfeed tables are great - I don't remember how I ever worked the tablesaw without one. Make one for your saw!

Very nice Kevin! Looks great, and I agree 100% with you about having an outfeed table...it sure makes things a lot easier. One recommendation for you. I actually use my workbench as my outfeed table instead of a dedicated one like yours, but, I added a drawer under the top to hold all the stuff you need for an assembly table and that has been real handy. I made my drawer slide through so that it can be opened from either end...just gotta be careful not to pull it too far out Nice job! I really like it.

Nice work Kev! I like the reuse of the torsion box top. Good 'n frugal solutions always impress Very nice solution for moving it outta the way, too!

I've got that same saw, Kevin. I have also been thinking about building some sort of outfeed table. Right now I am leaning toward building a rolling cabinet and mounting the saw in it rather than the stand it currently sits on. It will provide a bit of storage space and I can put a fold down outfeed table on the back. Thanks for sharing your idea with us.
