Last photo, what's the light colored item with the black spindle on top? A box?

I once again thank Doug for the stuff he sent me to be able to turn these. He has helped me alot in tryin to master the task of cone turning. Again my hats off to him.

What wood is the BS that is smack dab in the middle?
That is some really nice stuff man - that "hollow form" thing in the upper right of the last photo is kick arse - nicely done!!!

Left side, above the dark colored bowl. Looks like it's beside a purpleheart stopper.

OK TJ I get it now , that is a etex white elm lidded box with an ebony finiale Zac the wood in the mid is leopard wood. Looks great but for some reason is a poor seller?  Maybe were u live they would sale more Boodrow |

Thanks mav and the rest of yall, Just some pics of the cones and some other stuff ive had in inventory for awhile. Looks like I mite get out o the bowl bidness , U cant get the price u need for what it takes to turn one.

Love the pine cone pulls. And that antler stopper is still something I wish I had made...fantastic stuff.

bowl business is a tough cookie to crack. I usually only make em when someone wants one or I just want to make one. If I don't sell it atleast it was good practice. I do like making the potpourri bowls and the ladies usually like them too.
