Man that's a lot of wood. No metal here. Before After Didn't get to the tree guards. I'll do them next week, I guess.

Kyle, That swing looks SO GOOD, it makes me think of making one! ;D How hard is it to move around? Looks really COOL!! I LOVE it! Looked at the date on pics... 2006?! Really? ... or just a bad date in the camera?

Thank you Joe. Yes the camera is a hunk of junk. But that date is just a little off. I built in '07. She was looking a little thirsty. I may still have the plans for it somewhere. I'll look around and PM you w/ news. It is solid as a rock. Not sure of the weight but it's heavy. Not too hard to move though because the swing hangs from 2 4x4's that are notched to fit the 4x4's running perpendicular to them. Just lift it off and move it as a separate piece from the arbor. Really easy. Thanks again.

If you find the plans, Kyle, can you let me know where you got them? I think that looks pretty cool!

Gomer, that is a great project. There are some wild climbing roses growing on my place that I would like to put in the yard. They would look great growing over that swing arbor. Sigh, another thing to add to my roundtoit list.

Max, Yes, I'm still digging thru stashes. When I find them I could copy them and send you a PDF. Save you a little cashola. Thanks Cody, It was my first real attempt @ WW. The "bug" has not rested since. When I build my patio cover, It will be moved to the yard and like you said, get something growing on it. Love that shade!

Joe, you are welcome buddy, anytime. Wish I could have been more help. Boodrow and Leo, Thank you both for the compliment. For the record, I am a lowly wage earner, my two brothers are partners in a office furniture installation and service business. I work for them. (highly trained professional). My wife is the real bread winner. She is the assistant to the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers spine doctor. Dr. Drew Dossett and Dr. Andrew Clavenna. You going in for a colonoscopy ?
