Someone mentioned a different looking cartridge kit? This wasn't done on purpose. This was a result of a 'fix'...seems the skew eats wood quickly when your not thinking. But I think it came out well enough to sell? That is probably enough looking at Slimlines for a while?!?!? I like leaving the knots in the wood. Haven't had any wild problems turning the knots, just have to go very slow with the skew! If the wind would stop blowing got seven more photos to take. At least the huge thunderstorms are finished for a little while...I hope! We had at least one gust of 65mph winds early this morning, and the dogs were freaking out! Scott,
That top pen will for sure sell. It's very elegant but outdoorsy at the same time - honestly not an easy thing to accomplish.
I also commend you on the save.... there isn't a TON of wood between the barrel and the diameter of the bushings so.... while there is more room to play than a slimline, it looks like you've got it about as deep as one would like to have it w/o serious risk of ruining the tube.
Nice work and I hope you have great luck at your next showing.
