The front door, yesterday morning, was that steel "slab" door with the little sidelights. Looked like the door to an old-man bar. By afternoon I had the hole reframed & the new fancy-glass door hung & light pouring into the house from the mud room. MUCH more light in the house. 'Re likes the new door somethin' wicked, although when ya come downstairs in the morning it looks almost like the front door's standing open...  |

When some one rings the bell at your new door, walk up to the door with your hand down low and wave a few times. Then open the door and look at the expression on his/her face.
It's always fun to play with the door with glass like that. I did it to a group of door to door evangelist once, the look on their faces were priceless.

Love those new doors.
I can still picture the way it all looked 2 years ago.
Hopefully there is a Vermont trip in the future. Who knows - maybe this year will be the year. I would love to see what you been workin on.
