From the wood that Cody("Ruffneck") sent to me!! A big thank you goes out to Cody!! This wood is so fun to work with, I had to put it on three kits! The fun factor is probably from the "wonder what'll come out of this on the lathe"....you just never really know. St. Charles with gun metal trimmings: Cigar with brushed satin trimmings: 30-06 Cartridge Pen with copper trimming: Thanks for looking....as always, comments and critiques are very welcome. Scott (showing off Cody's wood....ahh I didn't just say that?) B

I just wished yall lived closer to him. He is great to be around , would give u the shirt off his back and very smart. I met him through my daughter and his wife bein friends. My daughter told me for a year or so I needed to meet him. But me bein the shy one I thought he was out of my league. One of the best things that happened to me was meeting him. I consider him a dear friend along with all his family. There a great bunch to be around. He can sing like a bird , play the guitar and do some fine woodwork. I dont think there is a time that I go to his shop , which is prob more often than he would like me to that I dont learn something. The knowlege he has that he has shared with me the last couple years has been a God send to me. Boodrow

Scott I have some of that spalted Hackberry from Cody too that I can't wait to try out. That is some really great looking wood for making pens with.

That's one of the nicest things anyone has ever said about me. You're right, too. We are dear friends and I was fortunate to meet you, too. Okay, enough of that maudlin stuff. I'm coming home for the weekend if you want to drop by saturday.

. . . He can sing like a bird , play the guitar and . . .
Wish I woulda known that a couple years ago. We could have maybe convinced him to bring his guit fiddle to one of our get-togethers down at M&G.

Cody did you know anyone from that rig that blew up? Yeah, I knew several people that worked on it, including both drilling supervisors (well site leaders). I worked with them both before on different rigs.
