That really is nice Les. Great pen and the wood is fantastic. Looks more like some Maple I have, but I've never seen Makore...curly or otherwise  I usually am not a big fan of a gold plating, but it really goes well with the Makore. As usual, excellent job Les! |

I've never heard of Makore. I agree with Doug, looks like maple.
I really like the hardware/kit. (What you guys call it?)

Had to look it up....
Other names: Agamokwe, African Cherry, Baku, Douka, Dumori
Seems like everytime I get a little handle on the woods of the world, someone goes and makes me learn something new....
Fit and finish is perfect....as always!
