Guys, As I have said, I'm taking down my shop so I can sell my house. I'm moving the equipment into a garage that will be my new shop if my house sells. It's a 2 car garage that has a laudry room built into one corner of it. I thought that this space would be unworkable untill I measured and started laying it out. I think this may work pretty well at least untill I can afford a barn. Anyway, does anyone have any sugestions or alterations?

Front door is at the bottom of the drawing. Overall size is 21X22. The bottom part is 12' wide and the other section is 9' wide minus 1 foot for shelves. The shelves should make good lumber storage though.

The Band saw looks in the way to me... assuming the front of the TS is toward the front door. Having the BS on wheels and in the opposite corner, with the jointer, looks better to me. Would give you more room for trouble free use of TS, being able to have long pieces being outside and fed into saw. If all of the other pieces were on wheels, you could move them closer together and moving them out when needed. Assy table s/b more in line with TS... IMHO. Hard to get a real 'feel' for it.

The BS may be in the way. I'm going to put it on a mobil base. For the TS, I would be pushing the wood through the saw towards the door.
My sketchup skills are not very good, so there isn't much detail.
Thanks for the thoughts.
