Finally got started on turning an extra bedroom into a closet. I had to do a small amount of demo work and then paint. We wanted to put knotty pine flooring in to match what is in the main part of the house so I kept checking Craigs List until I found enough for a good price. I got the floor put down, stained it, and got a wash coat of poly applied yesterday and today. I'm gonna let it dry until Wednesday morning and I'll put down another coat of poly. Finally got the 3rd (hopefully last) coat of poly on the floor today. Going to give it 48 hours to dry and then get going on the cabinets. I've got a rough drawing of what I'm going to build and as soon as the "Project Manager" (wife) gives her approval I'll start cutting wood. I'll post pics as I go.
