On which sub-forum to put this under.

The wife just returned from cleaning(with her mother and mothers neighbor) her Uncles appartment. He had some issues with his health about three weeks ago...something about O2 tanks running dry?

He has since decided to go to the Nursing Home! Which everyone in the family has been trying to get him to do for quite sometime(he wasn't taking care of himself at all)...

I digress though....


The wife came home with:
2-18v drills
2-drill piece sets
1-14pcs chisel set
1-22pcs router bit set
1-jigsaw
1-circular saw
1-benchgrinder
and a bunch of other stuff!

Total cost: $5.00


Guess that is what you call a tool boast!

That's certainly a worthy gloat. Did the tools belong to your uncle or did she get them somewhere else?

Sorry but that is a sad thing for me to read. I have only grand daughters and no sons or grand sons. My chit when I pass will go for pennys on the dollar im sure. Ive got thousands of dollars worth of mechanic tools + my woodworkin stuff. If I aint here I guess it really dont matter.

During the investigating on why I ended up with this stuff...


Was told no one else in the family would use it. He wanted to just give me everything, but the MIL told my wife to give her whatever was in her pocket(cash) and that would be good enough!
The 'yard sale' is this coming weekend, and all the junk he collected over the few monthes of living there would be sold or thrown out. And there is a lot of junk(we're talking dumpster load)!

Whatever money is collected will be used for cleaning supplies to make the apartment 'live-able' again.
