This is not fine furniture in any stretch of the imagination ;D ;D I finally got my shop cleaned out and made some cabinets on casters so I can move them out of the way when not in use. I was experimenting with a couple of new jigs learning how to make box joints and dovetails. So this is practice and there are lots of mistakes. That's why the pics are at a distance.... ;D. Closeups would be ugly...lol This is a router table and is still a WIP. I need to make a door to enclose the area where the router is and make a drawer for the bottom section. This is a table I made to put my drill press on. It has three drawers that I made box joints on playing with a box joint jig to learn how to make them. This is another table I put my SCMS on. There is one drawer behind the two doors and a shelf down below. I think I am going to make another drawer down there instead of the shelf though. Hopefully when I get finished building shop stuff I can start playing then. Gecko's tutorial on box making has me inspired.... ;D. I have a niece who is graduating this spring in the same town where Stretch lives. I am thinking of a keepsake box for her. I have some walnut that was given to me a couple of years ago and what I think is a slab of maple. Not sure just what I am going to do yet but it will be something with a carving on it as well. Similar to the ones Wisard posted (I think that was who it was). Thanks for taking time to look.

Mike everything looks good. I have been thinking of making some bee gums and I see you have been doing that. I was wondering where you got your plans, also what kind of wood do you use?

Thanks Jason. I like the Kreg top pretty well so far. It was missing some parts when I finally got around to putting it together, but a all to their customer service got me fixed right up. I bought it because of the way you can offset one side of the fence and use it as a jointer. I don't have jointer and to save space I chose to try this out. Seems to work pretty good from what I have done with it so far. Most of the stuff I will be doing is short lengths anyway. Thanks, Joe. You notice I didnt take close up pics don't you? Norm would probably be insulted.... ;D Fred, my brother bought the hives from somewhere but I don't know where it was. I know he ordered them from the internet is all I know. They have a stamp on them that says they were made in Canada and are made of pine. Here are a couple of links to a different type of hive that I thought might be interesting. beetalk.tripod.com/tbh.htmwww.biobees.com/
