Out of seven pen kits(cartridge type), I've had serious kit problems with two! Anyboby else having problems? The kits came from Woodturningz....
I'm going to do a 'contact us' thing with them to see if anyone else has reported a problem. They can't fix something if they don't know about it.....

Okay, while I'm waiting for the pictures to load into PhotoBucket, I thought I'd tell you that I have sent one of those FYI emails to Ryan at Woodturningz. Informing him of the problems I had with these kits.
Hopefully, it is an isolated thing and he can investigate?

Why don't you just give them a call instead of email? IMHO, saves time in the long run.

I'd call them, Ryan is probably there and would want to make it right with you personally I believe, plus those come straight from PSI so he really needs to know.
Good luck! Zac

I have not been having problems with mine Scott and I've done several recently. What problems are you having?
I agree with Zac that Woodturningz will take care of the problem. My first cartridge pen had incorrect instructions for it and I ruined the center coupling. They sent me a new one free.

Gave him the measurements and told him I'm cool with some QC issues that could arise from time-to-time.
Just wanted him to know what was going on with the product.

So, did you get a replacement? Or just letting them know about the issue.

I 'fixed' the issues with those kits. And just really wanted them to know what had happened.....
As I told him, "I don't mind doing a little extra when working a 'kit', as long as I know that I'm going to need to do it."
This in no way affects my ordering more of them from there. I'll just know when I get cartridge kits in(from anywhere), I'll be getting the calipers out. Sort of QC'ing the QC'ers!
