Lidded bowl measuring 4-1/2" diameter X 1-3/4 deep. Finished with 6 coats of Minwax Clear Satin Poly and polished with Hut Ultra Gloss. As always comments and or suggestions appreciated. Thanks for looking. Les

Very nice Les. I especially like the contrasting woods. Makes for a very attractive bowl.

The Paduak plug at the top(on/in the lid), is that where the mandrel rod went through? Regardless, it's a very good touch to contrast the lid without be 'tacky'! I like it!!!
As always, I'm amazed by your finishing, super glossy!

great job Les, liek they said above - great woodturning and great pics. btw, that maple is so warm and... i dunno.... fluffy that it looks like some of the lighter cherry that i have. strange --- but the growth rings and everything seem so cherry-like... great work! john
