Quarter Twist Ballpoint using a once fired 50 Caliber Military casing with a new commercial Hornady .510 50 CAL 750 GR A-MAX. Copper Bullet with Aluminum Tip. Cleaned the Brass Casing and Copper Bullet on the lathe using Brasso and the polished with FLITZ metal polish. Second photo shows casing with the Cross Refill Bullet Tip Assembly. As always comments and or suggestion appreciated. Thanks for looking. Les

MAN that IS a lotta' Hornady in them, ain't it? What's that weigh, about six ounces? 7000 grains in a pound.....Just think, that projectile when fired from my 50BMG was moving at 2975fps, and would generate 13,500ft.lbs of enegry! But with a simple flick of the wrist now, it could sign a bill of the desk of the President. Not that he'd ever have this type of pen in his hand, but anything is possible!!! Les, perfect as always!Scott (makes a big bang) B

I didn't even spot that - 750 grains. MAN. Still about 1-1/2 ounces. Talk about blistering muzzle energy!

750 grain bullets! Wow, that is something. The biggest I reload is 180 gr. for 30-06 hunting rounds. That 50 cal is over 4 times bigger! That's some serious lead heading downrange. Nice pen Les! I'm impressed. I'm still trying to convince the Financial Director that I need a couple of those pens for my display table
