So I placed an order with Ruth Niles yesterday, I went for the 10 pack/combo with the mandrel and bit.
I tell you what - she sounds like the sweetest lady ever, a real nice gal, certainly. She asked where I heard about her, I told her friends from an online WW forum, we both agreed that internet is far more effective than magazine advertisements..... We talked for probably 5 minutes unrelated to the actual ordering.... real nice gal.
I'll be ordering more from her for sure!
Just curious - anyone who orders lots from her - interested in organizing a "group buy" type thing.... don't ask me how to work it, I have no idea. Who knows if it'd be worth it. Just checking?

I would be interested Zac. Be warned though, a group buy is going to be a lot of extra work for someone. We might see if Monty can give us some pointers on group buys - I know he participated in some over at IAP.
One thing to watch out for with the Niles stoppers and the drill bit. I have noticed that when I use Ruth's short drill bit (that short length is very handy by the way when doing the Forstner flattening trick) that the other stopper kits I have will not fit in the tapped hole - it must be just slightly bigger. No biggie if you know it going in, but I've had a couple stoppers that I would rather have put one of the bigger stoppers kits on and could not get them to fit properly. I have no problems using the Niles stoppers - they fit perfectly.
P.S. Yes, I have spoken with Ruth a couple of times also and she certainly is a sweet lady. One of those people that you just love doing business with.

Thanks for the heads up Doug - I wondered about the fit regarding other stoppers if you weren't sure before hand what you were going to use....
