Here's an idea I saw on another forum. The guy calls it his painting dipping screw. It's made with an eyebolt and a brass acorn nut. Drill a hole in the acorn nut and add a coarse thread drywall screw. He did say he had to grind down the head of the screw some. I think this would be handy when I am painting some of my smaller carvings. The eyebolt can be clamped into a vise and left to dry or whatever. I'm not a turner but I thought it might could be used for that lacquer dipping technique those guys talk about.

THAT looks HANDY! The eyebolt would make it really easy to hang something that's got no other good provision for hanging, or it'd give ya a handle. Dang, I like that!
