Made this from a block of Ash. Outer cube measures 3" square and the inner cube measures 1-1/2" square. The inner cube can not be removed from the outer cube!  Les  |

I've seen that before...
It's really COOL and surprisingly easy to make!
IIRC, you use Forstner bits... drilled just so far into a block from all sides... resulting in a floating square.
Never did try it... but it sure sounded like fun!
