Honeysuckle turned Lidded Box using 3/4" Spindle Gouge, 1/16" Parting Tool and 1/2" Round Nose Scraper. Measures 4-1/4" Tall x 2-7/8" OD x 2-3/16" ID. Finished with 6 coats of Minwax Satin WOP. As always comments and or suggestions appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Wow! I love the way the grain matches up at the lid. Beautiful work Les.
Honeysuckle? That's a vine down here...I've not heard of a Honeysuckle tree. Is that a local wood?

I'm with Doug. A honeysuckle down here is a climbing vine with pungent, sweet-smelling blossoms in the spring.
The bark on that piece of wood looks just like our Dogwood.
Whatever it is, it made a very nice lidded box. Great job.
