Here's a pen I turned the other day, but didn't get around to taking a photo. Seems after I sold those four pens, there is a big 'hole' in my stash! Eye-candy..... 30-06 Cartridge Twist Pen w/Mesquite 6 coats CA/BLO and buffed with EEE and then paste wax. As always, your critique is very important to me and my learning process! Thanks for looking!!!! Scott (hmmm, another pen ) B

Looks like you got some real nice grain swirls in that Mesquite wood Scott. Very nice looking cartridge pen. I really like the copper nib...not so sure about the clip being copper...
The picture is awesome. I really like your card being in the picture and the pen description included in the picture too. I'm going to have to think about trying something like that. What photo editing software did you use to put in the description?

You should like that Mesquite....you sent it to me!
Software....Picasa3, it's a freeware program with some really cool features. It's free too!!
Scott (get it? your mesquite) B

Well no wonder I liked that Mesquite ;D I just did not recognize it all polished up like that I have used Picasa before...sometime, somewhere...not version 3 though...I'll check into it again. Thanks Scott.
