Looking around for an up grade to the blade guard on my TS and was wondering if anyone has an information on the SharkGuard. www.leestyron.com/sharkgriz.php

I know Lee from the old Ryobi forum years ago, and my opinion is that if he says it will do what it does, it will. I don't believe that I have seen a single negative post about the Shark Guard on any of the many forums I used to read, and lots of positive stuff.

I've had one for over a year (man, how time flies).
I have been very pleased with it. At the time I ordered mine, it took several months to get it, because Lee had more orders than he fill quickly. He made the wait time clear up front, and to me, it was worth the wait.
I already had a Biesmeyer splitter on my Unisaw and the Sharkguard I ordered drops right into the mount for the Bies. Quick to put on - quick to take off.
It comes with two different size splitters in addition to the mount for the guard.
It is a great product.

I have one for my soon to be sold Grizzly contractor saw (444Z). No regrets! Better dust collection and a guard I actually didn't mind using ... easily removed when I didn't want to use it.
My impression is that these things are individually crafted to order, so you're not going to get it the next day ... but Lee's communication is good, so you know where you are in line.

Tommy, That there detail about the Biese mount may well tip my hand ... I have a biese and it's a little wiggly, and doesn't work with my TK blades ... i may have to hit lee up for a whale

Jason,
I could be wrong, but I don't think the Biesmeyer-mount Shark works with TK

Are they leftover from your old saw or something?
