Well, I love seeing the bowls too, but I hope everyone keeps on posting pen pics too.
Almost all of the ideas I get for pen turning come from what I see posted on this forum and one other.
I hope we continue to see a good mix of all different kinds of turnings, but I really appreciate the pens the most.

Does anyone make "turned" lamps anymore? ;D ;D That was the first & last thing I ever "turned"... in Jr. High School! ;D ... and I still have it! I took the guts (wiring) out of it... for some crazy reason...

Doug, even I who has never "turned a pen", have enjoyed seeing the variety, style and workmanship of them posted here so much, that I have bought a few pen kits to try. No worries about pens going away here. Thanks, Mark

That's good to hear Mark. I seem to have to keep trying new things with pens, and it's good to see the latest things other pen turners are doing.

I don't think Tim and I know that I didn't mean to infer that we were tired of looking at pens. I love to see them so keep them coming.
How about if I rephrase Tim's statement.
I'm glad t'see some bowls rolling out again. The penturners were the only ones contributing to the "completed turning projects" forum there for a while.

I like looking at all of this spinny stuff. Keep 'em all coming. I know I keep saying it, but "One of these days..." Plus, I think I'd look a lot better bellied up to a lathe than I do leaning on a sanding table.

I knew exactly how you guys meant what you said, but I was just concerned that some of the newer guys might not have. I just wanted to make sure that the pen turners know there is definitely someone interested in what they are making.
