I will be laying about 450 sq ft of pavers that I already have (from a previous patio). The design of these are such that no matter which direction they are laid, there is no smooth edge for a border. Any suggestions for what might look good? .

When I did it I used a concrete blade in an old circular saw to make straight cuts for the edges. If you score the paver and hit the part you don't want with a hammer it will usually break straight where you scored it. It adds extra work but looks nice when done.

I did the EXACT same pavers as yours for my front walkway.
They sell HALF pavers for the edging
Be sareful - they have right hand and left hand half pavers
edit in:
If I get time later I will take a pic of how to do the edging. Don't cut them - buy the edging pieces - It will look a lot better

I saw them put down on Hometime just the other day... I see what you mean... That's a weird design... I wonder how they were intended to be laid. Looks like if you laid one down, then taking the next one and Flipping it, and placing it where it fits against the first one... flipping every other one, etc. ;D Another way would be to Cut/Trim to make them rectangular... using cutoffs to fill voids as required. Let us know how you did it... OK? Good luck!

You can get the edge pieces like Leo said, Or you can cut them as described above. Here's my question. Are you laying in sand/dust or mudding them down? Reason is, when using mud over crete, they stick up pretty high, while in sand, they are fairly flush with the grade. So if you keep em flush, just cut what you need (may want to rent a demo saw since it's a dusty job, may kill your cs),as it's cheaper. If they stick up a good amount, buy the edgers so you don't see the cut marks
