Wow, I ordered my stuff today and good prices too. Hickory was 1.57 a board foot and poplar was 1.27 and that is milled S2S1E. Those were the best prices I have ever gotten from Brazos. I have to wait till next Wednesday to have it delived. It might be Monday but it all depends if they have room on the truck Monday.

I have it soo good.... I think I pay.... around 3.50 /bf for anything under 6' in length. Anything over 6' is 25% more. Near same price for Cherry.' Of course, it's about 120 miles round trip. Zac First time I've heard of a premium for length. Usually it is on width, say over 10". Jerry - I worded that TERRIBLY.... I gave the "discounted" prices because that is what was in my head from the last time I was there.... I bought all shorts. Their stuff has a normal price, THEN it's discounted (to the figure I gave) for being under 6' long. They do have a premium for extra wide boards - but I can't remember....it's at least 10" and might not go up in price until 14" Sorry 'bout that. Zac
