Wanting to find out what plastic polish you use?
Seen Hut's Ultra, One-Step, etc.... Was wondering if there is something special about these over, say Mother's or Meguiar's? Or could those also be used?(Actually get these from AutoZone/WalMart pretty cheap, compared to ordering, shipping, waiting with an online order)
Only reason I'm asking is, I'd like to take my finishing to the next level. Everything seems really 'dull' as compared to other photo's I have seen.

I just use MM through 12k grit - I don't have EEE yet or I'd use that as the final step. Well.... Not sure if I'd still wax or not - but it would go MM, EEE, then possibly waxing.
If I were to start doing a lot of plastics - I would try the one-step stuff - PSI offers it...it's not real expensive and I've scene a demo of it used (from the PSI website, under how to make a cartridge pen) and it seems to have worked superbly, looks simple to use too.

I use mm thru 12k then eee. I bought eee so I could use on wood products too. I have not used any of the other stuff, but the eee is worth its weight in gold.

I do the same as Mav. EEE is very good polish for plastics (CA is plastic too ya know ) I never got a chance to try any of the special polishes for plastic because I got such good results with the EEE. And EEE is wax based, so no need to wax after the EEE step.

I generaly use MM through 12000,then Hut plastic polish-then finish witha wax. However I am interested in the fact that Les in red deer states he uses super fine steel wool on his wood products after sanding to 400.I've also read that some merely sand to 400 then use the buffing wheels.Does anyone know if the steel wool method would work for plastics? I'm curious... has anyone tried using Flitz? I was just getting ready to suggest that. I use Flitz on adornments included with my leather work. Works like a champ.
