I live in Alberta, Canada.

I retired from the Alberta Oil Patch in 2001 after 30 years. I took up wood working in 2003.

My main addiction is Pen Turning which I have been doing over the past 4 years.
I make Rifle Cartridge Bullet Pens which are great sellers at Gun Shows here in Alberta.

My favorite material to turn is Whale bone and Amboyna. I don't have a favorite pen kit yet.

I also have done quite a bit of Scroll Sawing and Intarsia and the pen turning addiction.

Sure thing Les. First check out the Articles, tutorials, etc. section here: worldofwood.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=articles

That will give you a feel for what others have posted along those lines. Now, you may want to post it first in the turning section so we can ask questions and get your answers before it gets moved over to that section. The mods will move it for you when it is ready if that is how you choose to do it.
