Wow - Joe - those are actually REALLY cool - honestly.... you very likely could put in four grooves for one drawer before you could get all the set-up done to do it on a TS or router table....

Well done.......but could you explain to us the reason for that shaving aperture going straight through the stock? It is a bit unusual.

I hadn't noticed that till you mentioned it, TW. Never saw a vintage molder etc with the hole all of the way through like on those. Could be that the hole was drilled after the sandwich was put together, I guess. Don't know how beneficial it would be.

I'm guessing that some of the shavings curl straight instead of spiraled... and the through hole makes it easy to clear 'em out - poke your finger through the hole to clear it. It might be accidental, but it seems handy.

At first I didn't understand the question - yeah Tim, in the video it shows the guy poke his finger through the hole to clear the shavings/chips - I think it was put there for that exact reason.
