I saw this chair on another forum. After I paid $20 for the plans, I saw another guy on another forum was giving them away. Just my luck. I've had a sheet of good 1/2" maple plywood stuck back for years, just waiting for the right project. Well, this was it. I got three chairs out of it. My little grandson calls it his "Puzzle Chair". The seat is about 8" off the floor....just right for 3-4 year old.

That's too cool, Dave. I saw those on that other site and thought they were pretty neat, too. The plywood you used IS good stuff. Thanks for showing.

thats a great design. Sounds like you have luck about like me, except I would have paid 20 bucks. found out they were free and then my 20 dollar plans would be missing an important step and I would have ruined that pretty maple ply. Anyway it turned out awesome. great job

That is definitely a "Puzzle Chair" Dave.
Very cool. And now it's on my very lengthy list of things I want to do. One of these days...
