Going to take up calligraphy? No, I don't have the talent for it. But it does make me want to write a letter or something. I don't even know what these Fountain Pens write like - I can't bring myself to put the ink cartridge in one to try it out.Looks like a keeper(or really expensive one) to me!!! I have had a couple of requests for Fountain Pens, so I finally decided I to make a couple. The first one sold the day after I made it, so I figure I better make some more. I did not even have the chance to think about the price for it...
I'm kinda hoping I mess one up so that I have to keep it
Scott (everything goes together) B Thanks Scott!

Beautiful pen Doug ! What kind of finish did u use on it? ;D Boodrow Thanks Boodrow! Since it was spalted and pretty soft I had to stabilize it with thin CA while I was turning it, so I just put 3 more coats of medium CA on it for the finish.

The first one sold for $40.00, so I'm thinking the nice spalting should be worth a little more than that.
I was supposed to go to the Farmers market today, but it was only 19* at 6:00 this morning, so I decided to stay home. So, I guess I have another week to decide on the price ;D
