I voted Grizz because - a lathe will be ordered shortly - and they will be my jointer of choice unless I find a used one that strikes my fancy. I have a DC and TS from Grizzly - love em. I have a Ridgid planer and cordless drill - love them both. I also have some Craftsman power tools - hand held kinda stuff..... Honestly - I have more of those than any other brand but.... that was before I knew any better! Nah - they are ok - but I can't say that they would be repeat purchases today if they crapped out. Zac

I voted Other, as my shop is outfitted with one each; PSI, Black and Decker, Hitachi, and Skil.

I voted Other because I have Ryobi Combo: drill, 4" CS, Recip saw, & flash lite... Ryobi TS with sliding table. Hitachi Router combo. Grizzly BS. Antique TS. eBay special bench DP. Ridgid sander. Black & Decker Mouse sander. Port Cable ROS. HF compressor & brad gun. Dewalt planer... Skil CS... edit: OH, I have a Bosch jig saw & Colt router! That makes Bosch #2... But Ryobi is still #1. No any ONE Mfr... Favorite... If I like it & want it & I can get it, I do. ;D ;D ;D

Kind of hard to pick. I voted Bosch because I have three of their routers and a jig saw. I have a Griz TS, jointer, and lathe and also a drill press that is a POS stashed away in the barn. I like Craftsman for wrenches and ratchets and got a bunch. Three circular saws, B&D, DW and a Craftsmen wormdrive. I don't think any one company has a lock on quality except maybe Festool and I don't have any of those. Fred

I've got a Bosch ROS, router combo, belt sander, and jig saw. I don't have 4 of anything else.

I voted "other" because I am not at all brand specific.
I cannot really answer the question - cause I have such a mix
I have dewalt, jet, hitachi, harbor freight, grizzly, delta, performax, ridgid, bosch, ryobi, porter cable, drill doctor, panavise, Honda, Toro, Husquarvarna, crapsman, john deere, nissan, chevy, and too many more to mention
Some of those brands I have 2-3 or so of some only one.
If I had to answer just by the numbers - Harbor Freight - but that by no means - means I think HF is the best, neither does it mean they are my main pieces of equipment.
How do I answer

I answered Griz cause I just considered big machines and gave more weight to footprint sizes in the shop. The TS and BS are both Griz but I have a Delta planer and scrollsaw. Then I've got a mix of other paint jobs in main machines and a whole rainbow of colors as far as the rest of the stuff.

I voted 'other".
My big stuff...Onieda, Delta, Hawk, and Craftsman.
Hand held...I have more Porter Cable than anything else, not that I'm brand specific, it just turned out this way...3 routers, ROS, profile sander, biscuit jointer, pin nailers, and staple gun.

I guess the question is a little ambiguous. You could read it "do you buy a majority of a single brand?" or if you have 10 tools, 9 different brands and 2 tools the same brand, the answer would be that brand.
Not sure...

Ya wording may be not so clear. Just thought I'd get some idea of what you all had/liked/etc

Depending on one's definition of cordless, I'd have to answer Stanley, because thirty or so Stanley handplanes and scrapers definitely outnumber any other brand in my shop with Miller's Falls and Disston vying for a close second.

I voted Delta because I have 4 large Delta tools. More $ (new) than any other. But there are many different collors in my shop.

Yeah as far as saws, I got more Disston than any others, and Stanley seems to dominate the rest of my shop. ;D

I had to vote other because most of my stuff is Rigid or Harbor Freight. Maybe not because they were the best available, but because they had the best value for scarce dollars. I like Grizzly products, but the shipping has always been a deal killer for me. I have Rigid TS, BS, OSS, Jointer, Planer and 3 sanders - all of which I have been very happy with. I opted for the HF Drill press over Rigid and of course my lathe is HF. SCMS is DeWalt and is a very nice tool. Both of my routers are Craftsman what can I say, I got them many years ago and they are actually not too bad. I've got a ShopFox Mortising machine which is a nice tool too. My cordless drill is DeWalt and I am very happy with it as well. I have a HF shaper that is very sturdily built but not very user friendly. So, I guess I do not have any brand loyalty, I just buy what fits my needs and budget.
