It's up to Cody and TJ, I guess, but I think we've got enough forums right now. I suspect Cody would open a new thread in General and just keep adding posts to it like lotsa folks do on FWW and SMC. That format really works well, I think. and it lets folks comment and ask questions as the build progresses. The nice thing about that format is at the end of the build, you have a single complete story all in one place that's real easy to search follow. Like I said - it's up to Cody on the format and presentation. That's what I planned on doing, Jason. There's nothing wrong with it staying in the General Woodworking forum, either. Perhaps it will help generate a bit more traffic here. I'm not complaining, mind you, but I can never get enough of woodworking discussion. Then, once it is done, move it to the tutorials so that it'll be easier to find later on down the road.

Between the forms and trying to finger things out, the first one takes a very long time. Once you got the forms done and everything figured out how it goes together, the next one ought to go a lot quicker. Leastways, that's what I'm hoping. Yet to start my second one.

It's amazing how much I forgot about the process between building the first one and now. It's almost like learning all over again. I've already made one process mistake.
FWIW, I think I'm also going to do a powerpoint presentation for the client...this is a commissioned rocker. I think he will enjoy watching the process and will also see why the rocker is so pricey. ;D

I've had that before. A few days ago I went to turn a small bowl and dang near had to reteach myself how the process went. Ended up using four blanks to get a half decent bowl finished, lol.
Don't use it, you will lose it!
