I'll keep all the politics out of it. The politico could be either past or present and a very high federal elected official.
The phone rings. The caller I/D shows unavailable.
Me: Hello
Phone: Hello, this is "federal elected official" (using their title of office) and mumbling something I didn't hear.
Me: I did not speak any further and just hung up the phone
A bit later, LOML says "Who was that on the phone?"
Me: federal elected official and I just hung up.
LOML: LOL!
It was one of those robo calls and yes I did recognize their voice.
